To address this, Marcus created its own Reservation & Customer Care Center, staffed with a team of experienced and highly trained associates who engage with both current and prospective guests. Our team handles more than a quarter-million calls annually and generates revenue across the portfolio.
In addition to handling room reservations, they can also take restaurant, special event, spa and golf reservations, giving the guest a one stop shop for planning their hotel experience.
Advanced technology allows for calls to be routed to specially trained agents that provide service which appears to be on-site, yet at a significantly lower cost. Agents focus on individual property revenue goals, guest feedback, and mystery shop scores, to consistently surpass industry benchmarks.
Hospitality Linen Service
Laundry operations can be a challenge for any hotel, especially when space or talent is limited onsite. Marcus Hotels & Resorts owns and operates Wisconsin Hospitality Linen Service (WHLS) for all laundry operations within Milwaukee, Lake Geneva, and Madison. This 32,000 square foot facility washes, dries, and folds all hotel room linens, food and beverage linens, pool towels, and spa linens with a 24-hour turnaround. Experienced personnel process approximately 16 million pounds of linen per year.
